Say no to premature wear of lithium-ion batteries, improve performance and user safety.

Battery management systems (BMS)

Battery management systems are designed to monitor the operation of low- and high-voltage batteries in electric vehicles or energy storage systems. At Ennovation Technology, we are the manufacturer of BMS, responsible for both hardware and software.

Our offer includes two types of systems, high voltage and low voltage (LVBMSv2.0 and HVBMSv2.1). These solutions are specially designed to manage and protect batteries used in the automotive industry and energy storage.

Our BMS system (ENNO-BMS) was created based on best practices in line with the requirements and standards of the automotive industry. By setting parameters and transmitting real-time data, it ensures optimal performance and safety of the batteries.

Functions of the BMS from Ennovation Technology

Safety: Advanced Battery Protection and Monitoring Systems

Our ENNO-BMS monitors the voltage of each individual cell and performs multi-point temperature measurements, ensuring the highest level of operational safety, even in demanding conditions and under heavy load. Additionally, the Ennovation Technology BMS features full galvanic isolation, an interlock loop, and contactor control with an emergency battery disconnection option.

Versatility: Flexible Integration and Customization to Meet Your Company’s Needs

Along with ENNO-BMS, we provide our software that allows full system parameter configuration. This makes the Ennovation Technology BMS easily integrable with any electric vehicle or stationary energy storage system, tailored to specific user requirements. The BMS is compatible with all lithium-ion cell technologies (e.g., LFP, NMC, LTO).

Performance: Maximum Efficiency and Longevity to Ensure High Return on Investment

The Ennovation Technology BMS balances the charge state of each individual cell, allowing the battery to achieve maximum efficiency and prolonging its lifespan. ENNO-BMS supports voltages of up to 1500 V and can manage up to 384 cells connected in series.

Configurability: Intuitive Operation and Simple Integration Allowing System Customization to Your Needs

ENNO-BMS supports communication via CAN bus (2 ports), Bluetooth, and USB, and logs data onto an SD card. Thanks to its Master-Slave Daisy Chain structure, the wiring architecture is significantly simplified, making system integration and battery connection easier. ENNO-BMS includes updatable software, ensuring the user always has the latest and fully updated version.

The Impact of a Battery Management System (BMS) on the Lifespan of Lithium-Ion Batteries for Energy Storage

The Battery Management System (BMS) is a critical component for the safe operation of lithium-ion batteries. Its primary task is to counteract natural degradation processes, such as “thermal runaway” or cell aging, which negatively affect the performance and lifespan of batteries.

The BMS achieves this by:

• Precisely balancing the charge levels of individual cells

• Continuously monitoring the operating temperaturę

• Advanced management of the charging and discharging processes
