DEVELOPMENT OF EV CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR eLDV AND eHDV

Electrification of heavy transport is a crucial element of sustainable development strategies. Charging stations are the foundation of this process, enabling the transition from fossil fuel-powered vehicles to more environmentally friendly solutions.

EU AND AFIR

The development of charging infrastructure for electric delivery and heavy-duty vehicles is also a European Union requirement. The AFIR (Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation) program mandates that each EU member state install charging zones/hubs for light and heavy vehicles along the TEN-T network. Additionally, these stations must include payment terminals, provide transparent pricing for charging services, and require member states to report on their progress.

ENNOCHARGE 700

In response to market expectations and customer needs, we offer a charging station specifically designed for eLDV and eHDV vehicles. The Ennocharge 700 charging station is equipped with two CCS2 charging points and features a peak power of 700 kW available at a single CCS2 charging point.

The dynamic power distribution allows for simultaneous charging of two different vehicles, optimizing the use of the charging station’s capabilities. As a result, charging is faster and costs are lower. The station can be used to provide charging services for electric vehicles and is compatible with all charging service operators. The Ennocharge 700 combines fast charging, innovation, and modern design, characterized by the highest quality of workmanship and materials used.

The station also supports bidirectional charging (including V2G in the ISO15118-20 standard), allowing support for the transmission grid or recharging a stationary energy storage system from the vehicle’s battery.

CHARGING STATION WITH ENERGY STORAGE

Our station can operate with an energy storage system with a capacity ranging from 150 kW to 1000 kWh or smaller. The presence of energy storage reduces the demand for connection power, allowing for savings in connection expansion costs and operational expenses. Additionally, energy storage enables the reduction of electricity costs by, among other things, charging electric vehicles when energy is cheapest.

Industrial energy storage is also a focus area for Ennovation Technology – if interested, please contact us.

FUNDING

The Ennocharge 700 charging station meets the requirements of the funding program “Support for the construction and/or expansion of publicly accessible charging stations for heavy transport,” financed by the Modernization Fund. The program will launch in 4Q2024. More information can be found on the NFOSiGW (Polish National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management) website.

We provide comprehensive services for clients interested in charging hubs, including the preparation of grant applications.
